It seems that 2012 is the year of the third version of almost all the leading game franchises. And, Blizzard is also making its mark by releasing its third installment of the highly popular Diablo series, the third-person RPG game, Diablo 3. The game begins as expected. You can choose any class while the undead are massing up an attack on New Tristram. You are the most capable fighter in New Tristram. You go through each one of the undead in a battle of the titans before reaching a girl whose uncle has embarked on a mission to end the skeleton king at the chapel. However, when you reach the chapel, the old man is fighting a losing battle against the Skeleton King and his mighty army.

Compared to Diablo 2, the graphics and animation are a refreshing feeling. When you turn the settings to the maximum, things really turn amazing to the eyes. You would certainly call it spectacular. Even though some of the voices have been carried forward from the last version, but the voice acting is simply excellent. Imagine walking by, while you listen to the villagers talking by in their natural way, adding some touches of reality. Our Diablo 3 review could not be complete without talking about the inventory.

The inventory system is what makes Diablo 3, one of the most remarkable RPGs in recent times. The previous versions gave you an inventory system that always seemed to be somewhat incomplete. Remember having to waste something just to enter back into the town after 5 levels into a dungeon so that you could sell the ineffectual gear to raise the cash required to create space for better gear that may be found later on. However, in Diablo 3 you can choose just a couple of options to sell or scrap items in your inventory just at any time.

You can use the scraps later on for any other trade or for blacksmithing. Blizzard has worked hard to give you some effective AI experience. You can level up the AI that follows you and you can also equip them with improved items. So, you can craft better weapons to increase the AI’s skills. This means they would be able to provide protection to you and to themselves. Blizzard has allowed you to choose from several characters including the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Wizard, Witch Doctor and Monk. Choose the one you want to be and save the world. Graphics When it comes to graphics quality, Diablo 3 has much more advanced and improved frame-rate compared to its predecessor. This is especially due to the amount to effort and time investment made by Blizzard in Physics Quality and Triple Buffering. Imagine the closeness to reality that this game offers when a decent smack from your battle-axe sends the enemy flying into the wall and bouncing off.	9.0
Sound Blizzard has also ensured that its fans get to enjoy highly impressive sound quality. The game is going to send you virtually on your heels when the ominously toned sounds will wrench your guts. Overall This third-person RPG from Blizzard is one RPG that comes to you as a gift after a long time. The combat systems are great, there is more efficiency in the inventory system, teleportation plates seem to be positioned precisely with a balance between difficulty and easiness, the AI is quite helpful, it is difficult but enjoyable to kill the enemies, great graphics and simply controls.
