Counter-Strike Global Offensive release date

The word about Counter Strike: Global Offensive release date (CS:GO) has been out for several months. However, release date has been in extension for the last couple of months. The latest version in Valve’s highly popular tactical shooter game series was announced back in August 2011. It would be launched on Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in the beginning of 2012. During the beta testing, players were able to play on maps which were remakes of the maps from the previous versions, but were miles ahead in terms of graphics, sound effects and gameplay. The classic maps of Nuke and Dust are making a comeback in Global Offensive release date. However, there are some tweaks in these maps, improving the game.

If you are a newbie, Valve has made things easier for you with the introduction of the casual mode. In the previous versions, the newbies took some time before they were able to last longer in the games. In this mode you don’t have to win many games in order to earn all the money required to buy better weapons. Valve has also given attention to the experienced and expert players in Counter Strike: Global Offensive release date. The “skill ceiling” has been raised, helping the pros to graduate to the next level of counter-offensive missions. This is something that Valve has maintained from its first Counter Strike version that CS is a game designed for the most serious players.

CS:GO release date is more of an enhancement, update and expansion of the highly popular Counter Strike: Source, with the detailing to graphics and sound effects being more advanced and realistic. The public beta was made live globally on 30th November. However, only those in possession of a key offered by Valve at its CS:GO release date featuring events were allowed entry to the beta test. Valve invited players to test the game and provide their feedback. This was done in order to receive intelligent feedback from the users. Valve is claimed to have got the new Counter Strike version tested by around 10,000 players before setting up the server infrastructure. According to the developer, the precise time of release of the game will be based more upon the community. The closed beta is going to be expanded gradually so as to increase the number of players until everyone is allowed to play the game. So, if you have been playing the beta for now, it is time that you would be hearing that the official release is being made.

As per latest tweet from Valve, they are all set to launch the Counter Strike: Global Offensive release date this New Year. Since, the release date can be just a few weeks more; players can now put their requests for beat codes on hold. According to Valve, the CS: GO will be available on Mac, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The cross-platform multiplayer versions will be supported only on the Mac, PC and PS3. Three control options will be available on the PS3 version. These would be keyboard/mouse, PlayStation Move and DualShock3.
